The mission
Use a small fund as leverage, then show honest proof
Take real action. Deploy, test, publish, organize, research, or conduct outreach. Gather evidence, measure what happened, disclose resources, reflect honestly, and submit proof through the official process.
What can count
- Websites, code, no-code tools, and automation
- AI tools, digital research, and data collection
- Content systems, social media, video, and design
- Online organizing, outreach, and coordination
- An existing capstone used for a fresh experiment
What does not qualify
- Simply donating the $5 or submitting an idea without execution
- Old work without a fresh test
- Fabricated proof, data, engagement, or impact
- Plagiarism, scams, exploitation, harassment, or doxxing
- Unsafe, illegal, harmful, deceptive, or platform-breaking activity
- Private information used without consent
Ownership and additional resources
Disclosure keeps the experiment honest
Additional resources
Personal funds, existing tools, free software, donated resources, external funding, services, materials, or platform credits may be used when disclosed clearly. Spending more does not improve a score by itself.
Ownership
The builder retains original work unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Existing capstones are not absorbed by DoGoodie, and third-party assets must be licensed correctly.
