By using this public website, you agree to these Terms as they apply to your use of the site. If you do not agree, you may stop using the website.

Purpose of the website

This website provides public information about The Ethical Capacity Lab, DoGoodie, the Liberation from Suffering Network, current work, public resources, and available services or ways to take part.

General information only

The website provides general information. Viewing it, using a public resource, sending a message, or sharing interest does not automatically make you a client, employee, partner, Network member, or recipient of professional, private, or guaranteed support.

The website does not provide emergency or crisis response, medical or mental-health care, legal or financial advice, certification, official audits, regulation, or employment services. Any project or formal relationship requires a separate decision and, when appropriate, written terms.

No guaranteed outcomes

A request, conversation, message of interest, builder label, program activity, introduction, or participation does not guarantee acceptance, completed work, funding, pay, employment, referrals, purchases, income, practical support, partnership, membership, access to private information, continued work, or any other result.

DoGoodie services, ways for builders to contribute, paid work, access to private projects, Liberation Network participation, partnerships, and public learning remain separate decisions.

Submissions and communications

You are responsible for having permission to share the information you send and for leaving out passwords or access details, protected records, illegal material, and sensitive information that is not needed. Public forms are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Consultation requests continue to the separate Operations Hub.

ECL may review a message, send it to the right person, respond, decline it, or close it based on relevance, safety, available people and time, and its responsibilities. Published response times are targets, not guarantees.

Ownership and permission to reuse work

Original website writing, graphics, design, and resources may be protected by copyright and other ownership laws. Names, logos, and material owned by others remain theirs; showing them does not transfer ownership to ECL.

Separate project terms decide who owns builder work, who may reuse it, how public credit works, whether it may be published, and how it is paid. Do not copy, misrepresent, or reuse material without permission or another legal right to do so.

Acceptable use

Do not deliberately interfere with the website, try to enter areas without permission, send abusive automated requests, pretend to be another person or organization, bypass protections, weaken security, or use ECL services or forms to enable exploitation, harassment, deception, illegal behavior, or harm.

External links and separate services

The website may link to the Operational Hub, program forms, social platforms, resources, or other third-party websites. Those destinations may have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and decisions. A link does not guarantee endorsement, access, safety, or continued availability, and ECL does not control unrelated external websites.

Availability and changes

ECL may update, improve, pause, remove, or change public website content and available options. The website may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance, problems at a service provider, security needs, or events outside reasonable control.

Disclaimer

ECL aims to keep public information useful and accurate, but content may not be complete, current for every situation, or suitable for a particular decision. Use appropriate judgment and obtain qualified professional help when a matter requires it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ECL is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on general website information or from an unrelated external service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
