How decisions are made
A person remains responsible
Who makes decisions now
Responsibility for vision, the website, day-to-day work, public communication, and project delivery is named. A person reviews important decisions about projects, participation, partnerships, and concerns; software does not decide them alone.
What is not yet in place
We do not present ECL as having an established board, independent review group, certification system, regulatory role, global organization, or outside audit team.
How we make decisions and use evidence
Use facts honestly and show the limits

Be clear about the decision
Identify who the decision affects, what they need, the risks, and the smallest responsible action.

Use enough evidence for the decision
Separate facts we observed, what we think they mean, our recommendations, and what we still do not know.

Explain protections before people act
Show privacy, pay, permission, and no-guarantee information where a person makes the decision.

Record what was made, the results, the limits, and what is still not proven.
Ownership and credit
Agree before work begins
ECL manages original public website content and shared ways of working. Builders keep ownership of their original work unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Before work begins, every project must agree on ownership, permission to reuse work, public credit, privacy, and permission to publish.
Conflicts and current limits
Do not claim more authority than we have
Possible conflicts
The same people may help set direction, run day-to-day work, review requests, or complete projects. They should disclose and separate responsibilities or personal interests when these could affect a decision.
Current limits
ECL is still developing its legal setup, decision rules, process for handling conflicts, rules for how long records are kept, and independent checks.
Safety and responsibility
A way to report concerns, with honest limits
The website provides community standards, project protections, privacy information, and a separate concern form. We do not claim to have trained safety specialists or emergency response, and we cannot guarantee privacy or a specific result from a review.
