Who operates this website
The Ethical Capacity Lab operates ethicalcapacitylab.org as a public informational website for The Ethical Capacity Lab, DoGoodie, and the Liberation from Suffering Network. Questions about this policy or privacy requests may be sent to ethicalcapacitylab@gmail.com.
This policy describes this public website. The separate Ethical Capacity Lab Operational Hub and unrelated external services may provide their own privacy information for the activities they handle.
Information you choose to provide
The public website includes forms for organization challenges, builder interest, Liberation Network interest, partnership inquiries, general contact, and concerns. Each form identifies the information it requests. Concern reports may omit a name and email unless follow-up is requested.
Please provide only what the form needs. Do not submit passwords, private access keys, financial-account details, private health information, private legal files, or information you do not have permission to share.
Limited technical information
The services that host and protect the website may handle limited technical information needed to load the site, keep it secure, and find problems. This can include the page requested, date and time, browser or device type, network information, an approximate location when provided by the hosting service, and security or error information.
The public website does not use this information to score people, decide whether someone can take part in the Network, make employment decisions, or build detailed sensitive profiles about visitors.
Where form messages go
Form submissions are validated by this website and then sent to ECL’s Formspree account for delivery, spam controls, and storage. The website does not maintain its own submissions database. Concern reports use a separate Formspree destination from ordinary inquiry forms.
Requests for a 30-minute consultation continue to the separate Ethical Capacity Lab Operations Hub at hub.ethicalcapacitylab.org. The Hub handles that request through its own systems and may provide separate privacy terms. Simply viewing or using this public website does not send anything to the Hub.
Google Analytics
When you accept analytics, Google Analytics helps ECL understand pages visited, general usage patterns, traffic sources, browser or device categories, approximate geographic information, and engagement with public resources and navigation. Analytics is optional and is not required to use the website.
Analytics is not used to score people, decide Network participation, make employment decisions, build sensitive profiles, show personalized ads, or let software make decisions about people. Advertising features stay off. We must not send names, email addresses, form answers, written messages, concern details, or sensitive information in a web address to analytics.
How information is used
Information sent through a public form is used to review your message, send it to the right person, respond, protect people, handle the option you chose, prevent abuse, and meet day-to-day or legal responsibilities. Form information is not published automatically and is not used for matching or scoring done only by software.
Consent-based analytics is used only to understand and improve the public website, its resources, and its navigation.
Companies that help run the website and external links
Vercel hosts and delivers the website. Formspree handles enabled public form messages. Google Analytics handles analytics after you accept it. The Operations Hub, current program forms, and other linked pages are separate services or websites with their own terms and privacy practices.
ECL chooses and sets up services for the purposes described here, but it does not control unrelated websites or every independent decision made by another company.
How long information is kept
The public website does not keep its own database of form messages. How long Formspree keeps or deletes messages depends on ECL’s account settings and day-to-day needs. Website service providers may keep limited technical records according to their settings and legal duties.
How long analytics information is kept follows ECL’s Google Analytics settings. ECL aims to keep analytics and submitted information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, while also considering safety, disputes, records of privacy choices, service-provider rules, and legal requirements.
Your privacy choices
You can accept or decline analytics in the website notice and change that choice later through Cookie settings in the footer. Essential website access and public information do not depend on accepting analytics. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies and site storage.
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or limit information connected to you, or withdraw an optional permission. Security and children
The website limits form fields, checks form entries, uses browser security settings, processes forms on the server, and sends concern reports separately. No internet service can promise complete security, so avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed.
This public website is not designed to collect personal information from children. Separate programs may have their own age rules.
